Purpose of Blog

This blog is a component of the Post Graduate Diploma in Educational Leadership PGDEL 103 Course:
Technology Leadership for Educational Leaders 

It has been created to present a review and evaluation of the academic website 

The blog is structured using the following parameters:

  • Digital pedagogy and bridging the gap between digital native students and digital immigrant teachers
  • The use of academic websites and interactive worksheets as digital pedagogical tools 
  • A description and key features of the Liveworksheets website
  • The pros and cons of the website
  • A rubric assessment and evaluation of Liveworksheets.com
  • My personal experience as an educator using the website

At the outset, I will state that over the past three years, I have been using the Liveworksheets online platform with my students.  As such, I have viewed this website primarily through the lens of a teacher. 

This blog provides me with the opportunity to conduct a more in depth examination of this academic website in order to appraise its value as a digital pedagogical tool in the teaching/learning process. 

It is hoped that the blog will be informative and enhance the readers' knowledge of the academic website Liveworksheets.com.

Academic websites are large interactive platforms that present information to different types of people: namely students, teachers and parents.   They contain interactive topic related resources that act as tools to enhance learning and supplement classroom teaching.   These websites are structured to make the process of learning content and skills entertaining and attractive to the students, especially in today's technological age. They also assist teachers in becoming more naturalized digitals.   During the Covid-19 pandemic, schools across the globe switched to online learning.  Children actively engaged in online learning     As teachers' needs for digital pedagogical solutions increased, the academic website Liveworksheets.com became a widely used communication channel between students and teachers.
